The kitchen is the heart of the home. Organizing this space can be daunting. It will be easier to tackle by breaking it into zones. As you work through each zone, you'll need to declutter, clean, and place.
This first step is the most difficult, but it is also the MOST important. Pull everything out, and I mean EVERYTHING. You want to see & touch each item you have. As you go through the decluttering process you will sort the items into 4 categories: Keep, Donate, Relocate, and Toss
Once each item has be sorted through, you will want to be sure to clean each cabinet and drawer before placing back the items. This is a great time to measure and add new shelving liner.
Now THIS is my favorite part - putting it all back! Once you know what items you are keeping, you know what organizing products you need. Here are some helpful tips:
-Sealed clear containers help keep pantry items fresh and you can see when you are running low.
-Drawer inserts help keep utensils organized and in place.
-Bins help to organize appliances and parts.
